 Sue Schneller
My Bio
What better place to create illustrations of kids than an old school house, built in 1927. I think their
spirits guide me. I can picture them riding in on their horses to go to school. But the wide open spaces of
Colorado are also very inspirational. I've been illustrating as well as practicing graphic design in Steamboat
Springs for over 30 years. Originally from Wisconsin, I moved to Colorado after graduating from college with
a bachelor's degree in Architecture. (Drawing cartoons is a lot more fun than drawing window specifications!)
I am currently art director for three magazines: The Steamboat Guide, Steamboat Entertainment and The Steamboat
Dining Guide. I also design everything from books to business cards.
My illustrations have appeared in Ski magazine, Skiing magazine, Highlights for Children, Steamboat
Magazine, The Steamboat Pilot (our local newspaper), coloring books, ads and on t-shirts across the
country. Custom Illustrations Always Available: Call Sue at 970-736-8293.
